Our story began with Rick and Jan Dulka, who built Deerpark Creations around a simple belief: quality workmanship and honest service never go out of style. What they created was about more than making things with their hands. It was about taking pride in a job well done, treating people right, and creating pieces meant to be enjoyed for years to come.

Those values became the foundation of Deerpark Creations—and the legacy we are proud to carry forward today.

A New Chapter

Today, Deerpark Creations continues in Minnesota with Mike and Liz Lopez.

For us, bringing Deerpark Creations into its next chapter wasn't simply about starting a business. It was an opportunity to honor what came before us while building something that reflects our own family, talents, and dreams for the future.

Mike brings his craftsmanship and hands-on experience to our custom cabinetry, woodworking, welding, fabrication, and repair projects, while together we've expanded Deerpark Creations to include handcrafted wood signs, custom apparel, goat milk soap, and one-of-a-kind creations.

We may work with very different materials—from wood and steel to fabric and soap—but the philosophy behind everything we make remains the same:

Perhaps the most meaningful part of Deerpark Creations is that this story doesn't end with us.

Our daughters are already growing up alongside the business.

They spend time with us in the workshop, watch projects take shape, lend a hand when they can, and see firsthand how an idea becomes something real. Along the way, they're learning lessons that reach far beyond woodworking, welding, signs, apparel, or soap.

They're learning to create.

They're learning to work hard.

They're learning to solve problems, try again when something doesn't work, take pride in doing things well, and understand the value of making something with their own hands.

Most importantly, they're learning what it means to build something together as a family.

We don't know what role Deerpark Creations will play in their lives someday. Maybe they'll carry the business forward. Maybe the lessons they learn here will lead them somewhere entirely different.

Either way, we hope we're giving them the same kind of foundation that made Deerpark Creations possible in the first place.
